Orders supplies and initiates procurement actions either through local purchase or other sources for purchase of supplies. Determines which method is most appropriate: either through the Contracting Office or by use of a government credit card. Obtains factual information in support of requisition needs for the organization from commercial vendors and sends purchase request to appropriate purchasing office for procurement. Maintains files of supporting documents IAW established regulation. Searches Army Master Data Files, Federal Supply Catalogs, General Services, Administration Publications, Federal Supply Schedules, Master Card Reference List, Commercial Vendor Catalogs, etc., for stock number, unit price, source of supply, and other management data. Prepares and submits requisitions to appropriate source of supply. Ensure equipment accountability, management, and monitoring; schedules and conducts physical inventories; maintains and accountable property and receipt documents; initiates and reviews reports for lost, damaged, or stolen property; coordinates final disposition of non-expendable assets; maintains equipment inventory lists; ensures accuracy of all personal property records and property documents; manages and controls all inventory transactions for non-expendable equipment requests and transactions; Maintains inventory management and control of non-expendable assets; utilizes automated property management systems to manage facility property accountability program, create equipment records, research discrepancies, conduct inventories, bar code equipment and manage turned in excess property; Identifies and rectifies asset management issues; disposes of surplus or excess property; trains and assists on equipment acquisition, disposal, scanning, and tracking of equipment. Performs other related duties as required. Orders supplies through GSA or with VISA GPC. Maintains a customer audit trail. Utilizes a computer with a standard keyboard to input data. Receives incoming stock, assuring that stock number, nomenclature, and quantity agree with information contained on documents. Reviews items for damages and refuses to sign for damaged or missing items. Prepare FLIPL's for soldiers to clear their units of command Signs for proper incoming items on receipt document. Assures all records are updated. Reconstructs records to support transactions. Responsible for overall organization of storage space. Operates a personal computer (PC) with keyboard and display screen to maintain records of credit card purchases enabling preparation, completion, and forwarding of month-end reports to the resource manager or approving authority. Utilizes PC to operate CD-ROM for FEDLOG and other CD programs to ensure proper identification of items requisitioned or turned in. Monitors equipment and supplies periodically to ensure all excess is identified for turn-in. physically inventories property at periodic intervals, noting building location of property. Prepares and reviews adjustment documents to the formal property book in support of the Division Property book Officer. Compares inventory results with property records. Reconciles discrepancies by reviewing the Property Book postings with transaction documents for errors; if errors are found, initiates turn-in slips to adjust discrepancy. Manager for non-expendable and durable equipment and materials for customers. Prepares Report of Survey for unaccountable items, indicating individual responsibility. Maintains files pertaining to Property Book activities. Compiles information and prepares a variety of reports. Determines requirements for expendable and nonexpendable supplies and equipment and always ensures the availability of a working stock. Inspects, accepts, and logs all deliveries for tracking.
I am responsible for providing logistical support for 80 soldiers and other organizations at Fort wainwright . Resolving supply problems, performs research to determine alternate methods of obtaining materials. Derive alternative methods to resolve, reduce any supply or property accountability issues. Review customer hand receipts for accuracy and accountability. conductorly inventories of all sensitive items.
