Aircraft Armament Systems Specialist F-16

  • Load/Unload F-16 Aircraft of all its Non Nuclear Munitions to include AIM-9 Missiles, LAU-129 's ,MK82 and MK84 bombs, Triple Ejector Racks (TERS) various suspension equipment to include, Wing Weapons Pylons, Centerline Pylons and Under Wing Pylons and BRU-57 with JDAMS and other Smart Bombs
  • Load and download 20mm ammo on the M61A1 Gun using approved and updated weekly Technical Orders (T.O's)
  • Inspect/Disassemble/and Reassemble all Suspension equipment for 60/90/360/540 Day Inspections according to T.O's
  • Perform Support Duties In all forms and capacities to include: Buying Tools for CTK's and etching them with use of mechanical and laser etching equipment with appropriate EIN to signify what box they go to or Kit
  • I am very well versed in building boxes to specific Specs so as to make it easy for crews to do their job
  • I have worked with many different tool accountability software to include (TAS) and (TC Max) I am also very well knowledgeable of various HAZ-MAT procedures and methods of getting rid of wastes according to OSHA Standards.

  • Very proficient with all aspects of maintenance on aircraft to include: Flightline Testers (FLT) of each station
  • Chaff Flare Tester of each chaff and Flare Bucket before loading, 50/60 Tester of each breech and test station
  • Removal and replacement of the GAU-8 (30mm Gun)
  • Spliced cables, using clamps and fittings, or reweave cable strands to cut down on chaffing which could lead to a malfunction or fire.
