I’m Darrell Cash. I was born and raised in Taylor County. I’ve worked at Buckeye Cellulose/GP Cellulose for most of my career and have also worked in numerous other paper mills and power plants across the country, in various states, including St.Marks powder on different projects and shutdowns. I’ve been a superintendent over numerous jobs foreman and general foreman and have manage large and small groups of people,I’ve been welding and doing millwright type work since high school.
Worked closely with Andritz pulp and paper on P&H portal log cranes from older cranes complete rebuilds to new crane installation worked extensively on debarking drums complete rebuilds, welded pipe,iron,stainless inconel,certified in SMAW,GTAW,FCAW,Torch use on a daily basis all power tools and hand tools
Worked and welded on boilers,tanks,pressure vessels,wood yard,lime kiln,digesters,paper machines worked on motors pumps chains belts sheives alignment of motors and pumps torch work
Small rigging up to rigging equipment over 100,000lbs millwright welding,pumps motors bearings belts chains sprockets hydraulic systems and cylinder rebuilds smaw,gtaw,fcaw,operation of all types of heavy equipment pipe fitting and pipe welding some laser alignment skills high experience in torch skills hard surface overlays and arc gouging also as a welding inspector working under a certified inspector
