This position was a new store opening, after success in a previous store I was selected to have the privilege and responsibility of preparing the store from the stage of infancy. This included but not limited to; hiring and training a brand new team, coordinating with vendors on direct store deliveries (DSD), delegating store and stocking tasks to both my associates and third party merchandisers, coordinating with corporate, tech support, and local governing bodies to ensure a quick and succesful opening. All before taking over regular store management duties after opening. Those tasks include matching transaction reports, managing inventory counts, ordering store supplies, continued coordiantion with DSD vendors, and most importantly running a brand standard store, among many other tasks. While I very much enjoy and believe that I thrive in my current position, I know I'm ready for my next big challenge.
