As owner and operations manager of Pacific Logging and Processing my duty was not only management of our crew and daily operations but also evaluation of new equipment, technology and how to best apply the most optimum machinery for the project.

I also had to negotiate contracts both for timber procurement and with our vendors for equipment, parts and maintenance.

I have over 33 years in the industry and have successfully done every job in the timber industry. I have been part of the R&D process on multiple machines with Tigercat, TimberPro, Caterpillar and more so I know both sides of the coin when it comes to manufacturer and consumer wants, needs and desires in equipment from application to financing to warranty, maintenance and more.

I was an early adopter of steep slope harvesting technology here in the Northwest and have owned multiple different winch assist machines including the DC falcon.

In the 33 years I've been involved in the timber industry I have accomplished everything I have set out to do and more. Being an early adopter of steep slope technology We were able to integrate it to our cable harvesting systems successfully and productively.

Being we were one of the early adopters I was quickly able to see which brands worked and which did not. In that trial and error process I built a good working relationship with Dale, Hayden and the gang at DC equipment and feel I would be a good fit for the position posted.
