Record Of Achievement
I have successfully completed over 33 years of service at the New York City Transit Authority working my way up the ladder from an hourly employee to supervisor, and from supervisor to manager. I was a manager for 14 years successfully carrying out my duties and responsibilities in a high stress results based environment. I was in charge of all aspects of the day-to-day operations on whatever train line I was assigned. I was responsible for over 300 hourly employees who were my direct reports which were comprised of train operators, conductors, and tower operators along with 38 supervisors as well as 3 managers. My duties included writing train schedules, maintaining supervisory timecards, conducting investigations and submitting reports for unusual occurrences, answering customer complaints and ensuring that all personnel abided by all Transit Authority rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
