• Work for an optical plastic injection molding company to maintain their inventory of molds & keep them in good working condition.
• Was the liaison with multiple outside tooling suppliers and other vendors to facilitate building new injection mold builds for our use.
• Use surface grinders, lathes, and milling machines to make adjustments and small repairs to existing molds and fixtures.
• Set up and operate plano polishing machines to polish optical inserts to ready them for molding.
• Experienced in using various polishing compounds to hand polish optical inserts.

• Worked in team of technicians and operators in quickly changing environment, adhering to all safety protocols and company processes.
• Troubleshot issues with molds, and auxiliary equipment.
• Work with Quality and manufacturing departments to ensure the quality of production and products produced meet company standards.

Lead a team of approximately 12 technicians to construct prototype components and assemblies for a sole client in the automotive industry.

Carry out Engineering work orders, effectively communicate progress reporting to Project Manager.

Maintain inventory, and distribution of components by

coordinating with supply personnel and procedures.
