Responsible for glasses & contact lens prescriptions, treatment of Glaucoma, ocular infections & trauma, as well as co-management of Diabetic Retinopathy, AMD, Temporal Arteritis & Optic Neuropathies, etc. Also responsible for supervision of two ophthalmic techs and documentation w/ insurance coding on Integrity EHR.

Responsible for all aspects of Family Optometry, including refractive services, specialty contact lens fittings, treatment of ocular infections & minor trauma, and co-management of Diabetic Retinopathy, AMD, & Glaucoma. Also included co-management of Cataract and Pre & Post-Lasik patients. Performed dispensing & repair of eyewear, management & payroll of employees, and equipment maintenance.
