Accomplishments

    During my first year as a middle school principal, I was able to increase proficiency across all content areas by 20%. We were able to remove the label of dispositional removal of African American students and students with IEP from the classroom. We were also able to remove the TSI label that had been on the school for several years. Revamp our schools PBIS School-wide program for behavior. We are currently focused on increasing Rigor in the classroom through designing student engaging learning tasks with a focus on literacy and critical vocabulary.
