Served as the primary liaison among agencies, stakeholders, management, and team members to advance program goals. Oversaw security operations, priorities, and workload to meet requirements, maintain quality, and deliver mission-critical work on schedule. Led security transition efforts across the Intelligence Community portfolio and managed the National Industrial Security Program, including document control, visitor control, personnel security, and classified contracting. Designed and delivered training aligned with 5 CFR 731.202, the National Industrial Security Program, and Intelligence Community Directives, and provided security support for proposals and business development efforts.

Oversaw security operations as FSO and Safeguards Security Manager for a DOE project, directing the development, implementation, and maintenance of security strategies and programs to strengthen the organization’s security posture. Managed on-site security staff, responded to security incidents, and ensured compliance with legal, regulatory, corporate, and customer requirements while protecting personnel, assets, and proprietary information. Represented the Security Department in meetings with clients, government agencies, and industry partners, maintained security policies and documentation for classified contracts, updated the evolving security plan, and served as Project Administrator for the Y-12 Key and Lock Program.

Served as Deputy Chief Security Officer for the FBI’s National Security Branch Terrorist Screening Center, managing a multidisciplinary security program that included personnel, information, physical, and industrial security, along with emergency preparedness and continuity of operations. Directed the physical security program, advised senior and executive leadership through reports and briefings, and applied expertise in personnel security and Intelligence Community directives to assess eligibility for access to national security information, sensitive sites, and critical positions. Also managed SCIF operations, ensured compliance with DOJ policy, FBI technical guidance, and ICD standards, and oversaw accountability and safeguarding of COMSEC material in accordance with NSA/CSS requirements.

Executed guidance and taskings related to communications security, information assurance, and cryptographic modernization, providing analysis and documentation to support COMSEC, IA, and crypto modernization requirements. Translated insights from service- and DoD-level meetings into actionable planning analysis, evaluated requirements for integrating Army key management systems into enterprise infrastructure, and developed documentation identifying technologies needed to support U.S. Army operational requirements and advanced development. Strengthened team collaboration through briefings, training, presentations, and outreach, and contributed to the CIO/G6 COMSEC tiger team’s assessment of the program manager role for Army communications security solutions.

Served as Information Assurance Security Officer for the Network Service Center – Training, developing DoD certification and accreditation packages and implementing a comprehensive information assurance strategy to support secure operations. Maintained Plans of Action and Milestones to track vulnerabilities, coordinated with stakeholders to streamline response processes, ensured compliance with DoD Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts and related mandates, and oversaw implementation of security fixes across multiple systems. Managed communications security issues for the Battle Lab Collaborative Simulation Environment and NSC-T networks and contributed to the design and layout of a new battle lab facility.
