Since stepping down as Head of Sound and moving into the story department I have continued to do sound roles to keep my skills sharp and offer my particular set of skills where needed. For example, I am very proficient at putting lapels on people, and we have always maintained offering a female soundie in shows such as Married at First Sight and The Bachelor/ette. We also have unique equipment for Drag Race that I am solely responsible for every season.

As a Post Director I decide story structure and content for an episode, while working with an editor to ensure the visuals enhance the story am telling. I worked on many episodes across these shows.

As a Story Producer, my role involves directing cameras, making sure scenes have a direction and flow, whilst also observing and taking notes for post and interviewing talent relevant to the scenes.

As Head of Sound, I was responsible for a team of Audio Assists as well as placing body mics on various hosts for the shows. I was in charge of control room links and making sure the audio connections between directors and hosts were maintained. I have worked in many settings, from live studio with audience to on location field work in tough conditions.

I was on set DIT, and afterward followed that role into post and ingested all the footage captured, I was responsible for syncing and organizing it.

As an Assistant Editor, I organized footage in a way that made it simple and clear for my Post Director and Editor to find what they needed, as an Audio Editor I was responsible for making sure the levels were set right, and providing atmos and foley where needed.
