Summary
While serving the city of Sheffield for 21 years as a police officer with the Sheffield Police Department, i have been in a supervisory role for over 16 years. I have focused on making myself an accomplished leader and mentor for the officers. All in while, utilizing my leadership and crisis management skills. My military training and community relations expertise contributed to developing a strong and reliable night shift and a strong Field Training Program. I recently acquired an APOSTC certification for instructor. This certification has helped me assess problems in the department. My Hostage Negotiation Certification has helped me develop officers and handle high stress situations. I have recently taught and certified approximately 10 officers as Field Training Officers.
