Advanced all Production details, including house PA specs, load in requirements and expectations, run of show, riser placements, lighting details, backline share with support acts, bus parking, oversaw house stage hands, and made the artists as comfortable as possible.
Interfaced with house crew, called lighting cues via Clear Comm, introduced the band at top of the show ("Ladies and Gentlemen, from Austin, Texas..."), built every instrument on stage from Sanger's drum kit, the Chadwick folding bass, Ray's amp rig, to Gene Crownover's console steel guitar from his tenure with Bob Wills and The Texas Playboys.
Coordinating all logistical aspects of production, including travel, accommodation, equipment maintenance, staffing, scheduling, sales, training, warehouse management, and day of show operations.
Building stages, patching consoles, mixing FOH and Mons, stage managing events/festivals, providing backline support (building drum kits, amps, etc), programming lighting rigs and operating lights on a show.
Built and patched the stage, mixed FOH and MONS, stage managed short change overs, maintained the house rig, subbed on short notice if others were not available, two stepped as often as possible.
First call fill in for mons position if their regular crew person is out sick or can't make it. Josh is on dLive and Shure wireless, Jack is on an old m32 and wedges.
Set up and sound checked the band using house gear, mixed FOH, got mons levels set if no house tech, recorded each show, attended rehearsals, loaded in and out as quickly as possible.
