Led the Boston office, the largest agency in New England, as well as the New York office, the global front door for brands entering the US market. Responsible for getting the best out of 150 accomplished creatives, as well as attracting new talent, new brands and managing the P&L

Highlights: Adding E-Trade to our roster, helping them get their swagger back, and winning everything from Cannes gold to the gold Effie for sustained success as measured over a 5-year period.

Executive Creative Director

Guided the development and production of creative campaigns across all channels to create unifying, breakthrough, and effective work for brands like jetBlue, American Greetings, US Cellular, Royal Caribbean, Grey Goose Global, Acura, Kentucky Fried Chicken and prior to that Burger King Social.

Worked closely with agency verticals, including behavioral sciences, pr, media, social, customer experience, design, digital, direct, partner agencies and brand-side creative departments, to produce singular ideas that became part of the cultural conversation and punched above their weight.

Highlights: Named to the Ad Age A-list, Standout and Agency-to-Watch list for eight consecutive years.

Creative Lead on Cadillac

Modernista!

Developed and maintained a strong and consistent brand identity for Cadillac, the crown jewel of GM brands.

Changed the perception of a brand that was drastically aging up (with the average age of some models being 72) and helped make Cadillac more relevant in a competitive luxury car market, to a new audience without alienating the core.

Additionally, wrote and developed 360 campaigns for Hummer, (red) and TIAA Bank.

Highlights: The launch of the CTS was the most successful in Cadillac history. Modernista! was named the fastest growing small agency in America.

Copywriter/Creative Director

Arnold Worldwide

Worked on Volkswagen, one of the most creatively recognized brands in the world. Became the lead writer and creative director in a team of 40 people. Developed many “Drivers Wanted” initiatives including “Pods Unite” a new Beetle and Apple partnership, the launch of the new Beetle which won the Cannes Grand Prix and “Tree” a 60 second spot for the GTI which ran on the Superbowl.

Highlights: Learned good habits from some of the best creative and strategic marketing minds in the business.

Covered the municipal bond trading floor, matching trades from the street with the underwriters of bond issues in the home office in Baltimore.

Transferred to the high yield sales desk in Atlanta, where I traveled with sales associates, took orders from institutional clients, and performed ROI analysis.
