- During my time with Singularity Security Group I worked as a CST. Some of my duties included using a handheld metal detector to screen workers attempting to gain access to the site and escorting workers through a Sensitive compartmented information (SCI) facility. I also observed workers removing and installing material during various renovations in the SCI facility. On a daily basis I typed reports for review by the Site Security Manager.
- Maintained close liaison with control rooms, police personnel and CCTV partners in relation to incidents.

- During my time with IDS International I worked as a Cleared American Guard (CAG). As a CAG I conducted security roves and worked in an access control facility which screened around 900 personnel daily. As a CAG I also Took part in the management of physical classified material Including but not limited to Filing of documents after creation, Inventory and repair of documents and destruction of documents after decommissioning. I further developed my experience with CCTV / DVR systems as well as physical security assets. Walk-through and handheld metal detectors were a part of the tools I used daily while on duty.

- During my time in the infantry I had the opportunity to participate in many events such as Integrated Training Exercise (ITX) at 29 Palms California as well as the Cold weather package at the Marine corps Mountain Warfare Training Center in Bridgeport California. I served as a Designated marksman with my platoon on our deployment to Okinawa Japan where we conducted many field training exercises. As an infantry marine I became familiar with the effective employment of the Marine Corps Rifle Squad and the management of armed assets at the company level. While I was serving with 3/3 Marines I had the opportunity to attend the marine corps Combat Marksmanship Coach course (CMC). During my time at the course I qualified with the M9 Beretta and M27 Rifle. I was awarded class high shooter on rifle for scoring 48/3 of a possible 50/3 points. Upon graduating from CMC I coached Marines on the correct employment of their weapon systems and assisted in range operations.

- While serving as a Marine security guard I had the opportunity to serve in an armed static and roving security role as well as planning and conducting training exercises. I also had the opportunity to serve on protective details for US diplomatic personnel. An MSG is required to understand and utilize electronic and physical security measures. during my time on the MSG program I frequently used an electronic security program that managed the camera system visitor badge system and hard line access. I am also familiar with the employment of handheld and stationary metal detector systems as well as airport style baggage scanners. During my time on duty as an MSG I was armed with an M4 Rifle, M9 Beretta handgun, Remington 870 Shotgun, MK 18 rifle and the Glock 19 Handgun. I became deeply familiar with these weapon systems and was required to demonstrate a high level of proficiency with them on a quarterly basis.
