Design Engineer
- Responsible for supporting Account Executives on a technical level regarding all products in the Avaya Blue (Nortel) and Avaya Red Unified Communications portfolios
- Design of applications that included customer Premises Based equipment on either customer provided or Avaya provided VMware, hybrid designs and Cloud based, including Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) and Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS)
- Position required Continuing Education and Training on the latest hardware and software releases, and translating the value to the customers resulting in positive revenue impact
- Worked closely with customers and sales to gather requirements and produce Scope of Work documentation for pre-sales design and configuration of single and multi-site opportunities to include new systems, system upgrades and platform migrations and SIP Integration to replace aging and costly digital transmission
- Integrated part of the AT&T Operations and Project Management teams working to ensure that stakeholder expectations were met or exceeded within scope, timeline and budget to successfully close out projects
- Utilized existing expertise in areas of telecom, networking, technology and project management to meet and exceed stakeholder expectations
