I am a productive employee with nearly 4 years of Sandblasting experience.
My main task was to remove mill-scale, rust, and other impurities from newly welded/fabricated Firetruck ladder sections, turn-tables, tiller-truck frames, outriggers, and small parts. The end-goal being to prepare the product to be primed and painted by the Paint-shop.
My secondary tasks were to maintain machine/booth functionality, up-keep, and minor maintenance. As well as, ensuring enough sand (abrasive) is shoveled/reclaimed to continue the job and be consistent with time and scheduling.
I maintained communication to my Supervisor or Paint-shop co-workers upon the completion of a project or to report a problem with a team-work mentality.
