  • I write, produce, and host a sports talk show, The BaumSquad Sports Shew, on WHUP FM 104.7 in Hillsborough NC. My show is a Mike Rowe of Dirty Jobs type show as I go out and practice with many of my show guests. I have played Field Hockey with the UNC Tarheel ACC Champion Field Hockey Team, thrown Corn Hole with the NC State Champion corn hole player, and skated with the Carolina Roller-girls roller derby team. I have to carefully navigate through sensitive topics at times and have guests with opposing views to greater broaden my listeners experience.

  • My main duties with Target started with investigating organized retail crime. I managed the Brier Creek Target in Raleigh. I had 112 apprehensions in my first year and was given a second Target on Lynn Road. After being promoted to Richmond/ Va Beach, I developed and executed Non-Violent Intervention Training (NVI). This training became mandatory for all Assets Protection Executives across the company. I trained and certified over 200 employees and then trained other trainers to do so. My other duties also included 1 monthly visit to each of my 24 stores to review theft and process trends with the entire executive team. I prepared a monthly presentation for our Corporate Office in Minneapolis to surmise my findings as well as to develop strategies for future reduction in theft and Safety incidents. I was the Safety Captain for bot NC and Va and assisted in all OSHA issues, store fires, and severe accidents.

  • My duties included the implementation of new products in grocery stores that were newly opening. I tracked, researched, and reported sales trends and well as profit margins. I supervised several teams of about 20-25 people during initial store set up.

Raleigh Community Hospital

  • I did the intake of all Emergency Room patients admitted to the locked Psychiatric Unit at Raleigh Community Hospital. I evaluated their mental state and directed the initial Treatment Team with my initial diagnosis. I also was responsible for medication follow up with each patient, and documentation of our units psychiatric incidents with the Treatment Team. The Psychiatric program was permanently closed in 2006 to make way for a new Telemetry Unit.
