Short-term regional and national travel for consulting and training assignments is acceptable.
As a former manager and entrepreneur, I have the ability to evaluate challenges and determine the most effective way to achieve objectives.
GPA - 3.3
Near the end of my tenure in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve, I was a non-commissioned Officer with advanced Hospital Corpsman training at the U.S. Naval Hospital in San Diego, California. Together with other similarly-qualified reservists with exemplary service records, I was selected to temporarily act in the capacity of Commander, 13th Coast Guard District, Medical, on a rotation basis until the Commissioned Officer permanently assigned to the position returned from his current duty at sea.
Each of us had the responsibility of managing the responsibilities and functions of the office during our tour of duty and had the full authority of the Commander position as senior enlisted personnel.
