• API Inspector performed visual inspections on piping systems. Sketched ISO’s, redlined ISO’s and P&ID’s. Created recommendations for repairs or replacements. Worked unit T/A as Quality Assurance representing client.

• API Inspector worked Unit T/A’s witnessing torques and hydrostatic tests. Reviewed NDE and performed final package review and walkdown for acceptance. Performed external inspections and gave recommendations on piping circuits per request. Generated IWR’s as needed.

• Verify mechanical work packages.

• Inspect flanges for corrosion. Verify gaskets and proper torque values. Verify completion of mechanical work packages.

• Received charts and BHN reports from field, verified calibration on recorders, proper heat cycles and BHN readings within range. Formatted data to PDF and sent to customer to make RTO package to turn into owner.

• Verify proper documents in packages. Verify completion of packages and complete RTO forms (return to operations).

• Verify proper gaskets, torque values and final weld quality. Verify mechanical work packages.

• Helped coordinate PWHT and X-ray activities. Verified fit-up and root passes.

• Monitored filler metal usage and storage. Monitored welding hold points (i.e., verify and witness fit-up, weld prep, weld tacks and root passes.) Verify mechanical packages.

• Completed daily activities (i.e., VT, Torque and BIC sheets) in Bluebeam format. Verify mechanical work packages.

• Inspected manufactured products to ensure compliance with contract specifications. Examined records, reports, and documents to establish facts and detect discrepancies. Witnessed tests applied according to API 6D for Sunoco.

• Checked for proper welding parameters and application procedures. Ensured weld quality of final weld product.
