- Initially hired to manage a three-person group to perform the maintenance, but reduced company funding forced staff reductions in which my entire staff was eliminated.
- In December of 2002, I assumed complete support of Themeware including firewall, network, system administration, application support, database administration and user help desk.
- Replaced leased equipment and migrated the entire application from California to Massachusetts to reduce costs.
- The migration was complex and made more difficult due to time constraints and other issues.
- Redesigned and implemented an updated, secure platform consisting of FreeBSD and Solaris in spite of the complexity of the application, the software libraries involved and the requirement for access to external merchant accounts for credit card processing.
- In addition to Themeware support: Security projects involving digital forensics.
- Managed web sites and digital certificates for Microfinancial.
- Implemented automation to replace and improve the call reporting process of our Nortel phone system.
