Project Based Experience

  • Logic Design of a Vending Machine, Digital Principles, 09/01/22, 12/01/22, This is a project aimed to create a coin-operated vending machine that combines memory with combinational logic. The machine needed a circuit that counts the coins inserted, provides a product, and changes as required. Applied circuit design simplification and efficiency skills to complete the project. Utilized various types of NAND gates.
  • Construction of a Smart Car, Introduction to Engineering, 09/01/22, 12/01/22, The purpose of this project was to efficiently build a car by assembling materials provided. All the components, battery, sensors, servo, wires etc., were assembled correctly and connected as required in the instruction sheet. Help better understand electronic device construction and design, as the smart car was a good sample in this category. Troubleshooting and resolving issues during the construction and programming phases showcase my ability to tackle technical challenges. For example, the assembled car was not able to keep going straight because of some built-in imperfection in the wheels. We were to fix that problem by recalibrating the wheels and send different voltage through them. Finally, assembled car was used in a class competition. Placed second in the competition.
