  • Responsible for regenerating wells that were not producing oil on the lease to producing oil
  • Responsible for clearing old roads with excavator and bulldozers to allow the rig to fit up the mountain and ensure our safety. Also dug drainage ditches to alleviate the roads from washing out.
  • Responsible for taking of old pump jacks, disassembling the mechanical motors, and strategically positioning rig directly over the hole to trip the old rods and tubing
  • Would set outriggers into position with adequate blocking to ensure 100% stability of the rig at full mast
  • Responsible for booming up rig and secure all lines to begin tripping pipe
  • Responsible for quality control checking of all pieces of pipe as too the condition and determining which pieces us reusable and what ones were not.
  • Welded Collaars/pump jacks/ and pipe fabrication as needed
  • Responsible for running our snake back down in the well to determine optimal depth as to how much pipe was needed to reach TD.
  • Responsible for all mathematical calculations pertaining to total depth and what length of pipe was needed to reach perfect depth. (Very important as if you go too far it would plug the bottom and you would have to trip all pipe back out and start over.
  • Once all materials are on site we would run all tubing back in the ground and then the rods.
  • Next we would break down the rig, secure it, and move to the next location.
  • Would come back and set pump jacks back on the well and mount the motors back in position
  • Now the well is ready to be turned on and would monitor to ensure the well was pumping to capacity.
  • Responsible for maintaining current pumping wells as to any mechanical or electrical problems. Setting timers to electronically turn on wells periodically to achieve maximum production.
