I've been apart of industrial maintenance for over 20 years. 11 years in the food service and 10 years in the auto industry. My time at Oscar Mayer I worked as the only fitter on my shift for many years supporting the production of the entire facility. During my time in the auto industry i've been lucky enough to be involved in the Early Equipment Management program. Not only was I able to work on the equipment but had a hand in making design changes before the equipment reached out plant. Safety improvements, and making mechanical changes to the equipment that reduced repair times. I have given presentations on cost saving and safety improvements to our plant manager, and CEO of the company.
