David DeHaro

My family has a long history of painters. I myself started very young, working on projects with my family to earn extra money as kids and throughout high school. I later returned to the trade and have been working to learn as much as I can, with the goal of one day opening my company in the future. Working in the trade has always been beautiful to me, although sometimes tough; I always find pride in the work, how a paint job can give a house, a room, or the kitchen new life.

Working for DFW gave me the opportunity to grow as a person and as an employee, working with all kinds of wonderful people. DFW was when I started a small growing company with 6 warehouse employees, quickly growing to over 20 and multiple warehouses where we would work on production and wine storage.

Some of my duties.

Working at Toyota was great. Some of my duties at Toyota were.

• Working the shuttle to get guests from Toyota home and back when their vehicle was ready.
• Getting cars for when mechanics were ready for the project.
• Stocking car inventory when we were ready to refill parts of the lot.
• Lube Technician, working on oil changes, tire rotations, and doing a multi-point inspection.

Target gave me great retail experience, working everything from cart attendant to quickly moving up to cashier, guest services, and then front-end manager in a very short time. Target gave me the experience to work with guests one-on-one at times, trying to help them with the trouble they were having, and to work with employees to navigate customer or store issues. I later transferred to working overnight shifts at Target for their remodel of the store.
