Work History

CAP 2 Associate

Walmart
Greeley, CO
07.2020 - 10.2024
  • I would help unload trucks on the GM backroom and on the Grocery backroom. On the GM side I would sometimes put boxes on a conveyer belt one by one, or grab boxes off the conveyer belt and sort them on pallets and stack them nicely so we can pull them out to the floor later. On grocery side I would take out pallets from a truck by myself and sort all of them by aisles and pull them all out myself as well. If I wasn’t unloading trucks I’d be stocking on the floor all over the GM side and would help customers if they had any questions
  • I was certified to use the electric jack and the walkie stacker. The walkie stacker is just something that has forks that go up and down so I could lift pallets or take pallets off of other pallets. I was able to use those for about two years.
  • On a few occasions when we didn’t have a team lead I did run the team when they asked me
  • I worked there for more than three years and never had a coaching or went over five points and rarely called off unless something came up.

Lactose Packager

Leprino Foods
Greeley, CO
12.2024 - 01.2025

At Leprino they had me as a 25 kg bag lactose packager and basically that is someone who fills big 55 pound bags with lactose with a machine. I didn’t really get the chance to full grasp it. I didn’t get the complete training I was supposed to get since they were short staffed. All day id fill out papers and make sure the machine was running correctly and taking samples. If the machine has problems I’d have to fix them. Those problems were fixing bad seals, making sure the bags didn’t get jammed up in the machine and just making sure the product was being handled correctly. That’s all really ever got the chance to do since I wasn’t there too long.

Skills

  • I was good at freight down stacking They’d have me do it most days on grocery side I was one of the better ones at stacking it up on pallets
  • If they didn’t have me doing that I was also always unloading trucks cause I was one of the better ones at that as well
  • When I’d unload the freight that wasn’t on pallets in the trucks I was quicker than most associates and those trucks did have a few heavy boxes
  • They pretty much had me wherever they needed something done cause they knew I’d finish it
  • I would also unload grocery trucks a lot cause I was one of the only normal associates who was certified cause the coaches and team leads at Walmart didn’t want to do it
  • It took me a some time but I was good anywhere they had me I apologize if this is repetitive
