The Composite Technician will be responsible for internal and external inspections, defect analysis, and repair of fiberglass and composite blades, spinners, and nacelles. The Composite Technician will follow defined schedules and procedures including safety protocols, installation processes, and verbal and written instructions. When blade work is unable to be performed technician will provide maintenance support.

All Composite Technicians must live within one hour of a Clearway wind or solar site.

Principle Responsibilities

* Inspect and photograph internal and external blade damage, document findings, and assemble all associated paperwork as required to be reviewed by Engineering
* Perform category 1 (coating) through category 5 (structural) repairs on internal and external blade surfaces, tip repairs, leading and trailing edge repairs while following guidelines provided by Engineering with locations both up tower and down tower
* Utilize blade access platforms and boom trucks at heights of 300ft or more
* Document all work performed using computer-based reporting procedures
* Install add on components (serrations, VGs, stall strips)
* Provide wind turbine generator LOTO (Lock Out & Tag Out) support
* Provide maintenance support
