I've known I've wanted to be a programmer since I was eight years old, but I didn't know for a long time where I wanted to go with that. But now, I know that safety is one of the most important things to me, so naturally, I'm very interested in cybersecurity. In some of my favorite online games, I've wondered how so much information is sent between devices so quickly and accurately, which I've began learning myself through my experience in Roblox game development- where different sets of information has to be sent through the client rather than server and why. I'm excited to do and learn more about this in my future of cybersecurity.
Combined total of 40 hours of job shadowing where I learned more about internet structures and what day-to-day work in computer science looked like.
Programmed and modeled for a roblox game with 5,000 visits and 79 favorites. I learned about many back end development concepts such as workspace structuring, client communication, and efficient programming. I am continuing my skills in game design at Georgia Tech's VGDev club.
