Conducted outreach to educate members of the community about services and programs available through Habitat for Humanity. Facilitated regular briefings about the homeownership program, aging in place program, and repair services.

Identified and developed partnerships with veteran organizations, state and local governments and other non-profits to obtain financial, mental health, and other resources to assist Veterans to obtain services outside of Habitat for Humanity’s scope.

Conducted planning and execution of small community outreach functions and large training events incorporating local and nationwide donors, and support from Fort Cavasos Soldiers and leadership. Served as a primary planner for the first National Service Blitz that brought together RepairCorps, Americorps, and Habitat International personnel for a home build and dedication. The event focused on volunteering, training and military immersion to improve military competency for 50 affiliates during a five day period.

Served as the Primary manager for the Rehabitat program to assist community members and Veterans with home improvements to preserve their homes with a focus on health and safety. Conducted all faucets of home repairs to include; initial inspections, scope of work, project management, project completion, grant compliance and records keeping.

Ensured that all repairs meet strict safety and quality standards.

Served and the senior operations manager for an Army Air Defense Artillery unit. Managed a staff of 64 Soldiers and oversaw the training and development and daily operations for more than 1100 Soldiers in subordinate units. Responsibilities included the management of future operations for training, execution of large training events, career advancement, deployment preparations, and wartime Air Defense operations in the Middle East in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Set, enforced and optimized internal policies to maintain responsiveness to changing operational requirements. Responsible for the maintenance and accountability of more that $ 6,000,000 of military equipment.

Primary manager for the operational training management of 350 Soldiers and directly responsible for the safety, morale and welfare of 35 Soldiers and senior leaders.

Ensured all training and career advancement education was met to support the Army's mission. Conducted multiple interagency training events from initial phases to successful execution to meet deployment and wartime operational requirements. Management of all government travel to include monitoring the use and compliance of all travel cards.
