• Implement and verify lockout/tagout procedures on electrical and mechanical equipment before maintenance or commissioning.
• Identify, isolate, and secure energy sources (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, thermal, and chemical).
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and commissioning teams to ensure safe work conditions.
• Inspect, test, and confirm zero-energy states prior to issuing permits.
• Maintain accurate logs, records, and documentation of all lockout/tagout activities.
• Train and support workers on LOTO safety practices and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and site-specific safety regulations.
