I am a Sports Trader for IGT. We provide a turnkey advisory sports betting service for 35+ sportsbook around the country, including 2 Vegas strip properties and Mexico. Our trading team offers an advisory service where we give recommendations on how to manage outstanding liability, sharp players, betting limits, betting system configurations, as well as general customer service for the technology platforms used.
- Populate, open and maintain sports betting odds for 35+ books nationwide.
- Adjust lines based on liability positions in accordance to agreed strategy with the customer and direction of the Head Trader.
- Result and grade games, verifying results from the data feeds and relevant sources.
- Perform player profiling for the Patrons of IGT managed sports books to determine if a player is sharp or playing advantage numbers. Make recommendations on individual player limits.
- Make decisions and recommendations to IGT managed books about acceptance of large wagers.
- Monitor bet scrollers to see all wagers coming through on the tills, kiosk and mobile app. Alert customers on players circumventing limits or structuring wagers.
- Manage content of customer facing apps, kiosks and screens in collaboration with the Content Team.
- Staying cognizant of jurisdictional markets, working with compliance team to tailor individual betting catalogues for each book, depending on state legislature.
- Provide monthly financial reports for each book which highlights areas of success, concern, and breakdown of player profiling.
- Activate BetMGM mobile sports betting app for casino guests.
- Document identities and follow gaming compliance procedures for all account activations.
- Verify tax information is on file for over the limit sports bettors.
- Partner with BetMGM contract workers (BettingHeroes) daily to drive mobile app enrollments.
- Provide training to R&S Supervisors how to pull guest feedback from hotel post stay surveys.
- Train and prepare new hire BetMGM Ambassadors for deployment to various BetMGM Sportsbooks.
Resolving post stay guest complaints via phone email and guest surveys. Used discretion in issuing refunds and offering return stay incentives
Provide guest complaint analytics to senior management in forms of weekly, monthly, and yearly reporting
Conduct undercover insider shops on various MGM properties.
