• I was able to purchase new concert uniforms for both the high schools and the middle schools.
• New band uniforms were bought and designed for the high schools and middle schools.
• New mariachi uniforms were designed and bought for the high schools and middle schools.
• Over 2 million dollars worth of new instruments have been purchased and added to our inventory.
• Achieved greater skills in music by introducing the Quaver Curriculum at the elementary level.

In addition to my educational background, I am also a gifted artist and posses many artistic skills. I enjoy decorating for events and redecorating rooms. I create one of a kind art pieces and flower designs and arrangements. I know a lot about color and the best colors to use in rooms, decorations, and on a person. I have recently also explored with designing rooms and constructing and planning on paper how to build a room to my specification. I love plants and how they can compliment and complete an area whether it be inside or outside. I am a clothes hog and love all kinds of clothing. I know my brands and styles. I love to play with patterns and textures when choosing what I am going to wear. I help individuals find the clothes that fit them best. This is both for men and women. I also love using shoes and the final touch to an outfit and how shoes can make a statement. I have hand painted and designed many halloween costumes for my son and enjoy the over the top look.

I have worked for Laredo Independent School District for 15 years. I have held three positions while working here. I was the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction for 1 1/2 years. I then became the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources. I was there for 8 1/2 years.

I am currently the Fine Arts Director for the Laredo Independent School District. I am in charge of all the Fine Arts Programs in the entire district. Those programs and the individuals that I supervise are:
