As a journeyman/ foreman in powerline tree trimming is to firstly implement safety and safety procedures.
DOT inspection before leaving any staging area and once returning.
Safe driving procedures, whether drive or passenger.
Setting up proper work area, truck parked, e brake set,chocks out, traffic signs out to alert traffic, buffer and taper in compliance with all speed limits. May also use caltrans and flaggers.
Physical address all work hazards and work procedures. Always see what can possibly go wrong in order to have a alternative plan.
Communication with all CO workers, customers, public and traffic.

Take time to teach new employees there duties to excel in there career.
