• Worked multiple positions throughout the zoo including but not limited to

-The admissions desk, handling ticket sales for entry, preparing fish and goat food, and cleaning around the office

-The Scanning Lane, outside in all conditions for hours at a time to help people with accurate directions, ticket and membership verification, and being the first friendly face most people saw on their way inside

-The Pretzel Cart, where I regularly handling gathering supplies for the stand, including handling food, cleaning utensils, preparing drinks and coolers, and hauling everything to and fro for opening and closing. On top of selling snacks and drinks, I also sold alcohol there.

-The Stingray Exhibit, where I handled raw fish, attraction sales, and merchandise sales

-And the Train Stations, where I handled both working in large groups in one, and in often complete isolation in the other, once again handling attraction tickets, food, drinks, and cleaning, as well as coordinating with train operators to ensure the best possible visiting experience and accurate time management.

• Assisted customers with product selection and inquiries to enhance shopping experience.

• Maintained organized merchandise displays to ensure optimal product visibility.

• Processed transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems for efficient checkout.

• Completing larger work loads than the typical overnight stocker, as I was working the grocery isle (notably including most of the canned goods, cooking needs, and ramen boxes) during the holiday season, when stocking demands were at their most intense.
