- Worked varied hours, days, nights and weekends as business needed .
- Activation associate deals with modules and or fixtures built by builders from the assembly department . We are the last process that it goes through before being shipped to customer .
- Modules and or fixtures are to be dipped in a dip tank that has no less than 6k kgs of solution and no more than 12k kgs .This process soaks elements in chemicals to ensure the that the elements are hardened and free of carbon capture .
- My job duties were to make sure the that the chemistry was right for each project that we were running at the current time , we made adjustments every four dips to make sure the the volume in dip tank was in spec and didnt not fall out of spec .
- Every project was different chemistry so when approaching project changes you kept volume as low as possible to either make new chemistry changes that were given for next change over as well as keeping recovery tanks as low possible .
- Heavy duty fork trucks were a must when moving either modules or fixtures around due to weight capacity .
- Computer system was involved in turning pumps on and valves to circulate the solution as well as pumping solution over to recovery tanks .
- Ovens were used to calcine (cook ) modules after each 3 min soak process . These ovens reached high temperatures from 450 degrees to 650 degrees celsius.
- Manual pumps that were used by compressed air were also used to pump certain liquids over to other recovery tanks .
- Alot of math and calculations were involved in this job . One crutial error could cause thousand's of kgs of solution to be over made with having to pump out and store liquid in totes with very limited of space.
- As an activation associate you required alot of responsibility for your dept .

- Maintained telephone and radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions.
- Fastened chains, straps, covers and binders to secure load during transit.
