In the Classroom:

• Cultivated critical thinking skills by engaging students in statistical analysis, observational studies, experimental design, and hypothesis testing activities.

Data Science:

• Developed a database of standardized exam results to provide administrators and fellow teachers with tools to analyze student success in various courses and learning areas.
• Devised a model that applies Markowitz Portfolio Optimization Theory to the application of teaching days to course topics, in order to achieve the optimal predicted standardized exam scores in Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II.
• Communicated the model's findings and predictions to administrators and colleagues in a clear and concise manner and instructed them on how to utilize the model's predictions in future planning.
• Incorporated predictive regression models to calculate expected returns on time investments in all course topics.
• Developed and maintained interactive dashboards that provide teachers the ability to analyze exam results and identify learning areas where their students are achieving the most and least success, where teachers are investing their time most and least efficiently, and how their results compare to colleagues in their department.
