- Oversee the 24/7 operations of the ECC, including staffing, scheduling, and performance management of ECC Personnel.
- Conducting performance evaluations, setting goals and standards, and providing constructive feedback to staff.
- Reviewing call handling and dispatch processes for accuracy and professionalism, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

- Supervise a shift 7 to 12 employees, supervise police, fire, ems, and teletype operations.
- Answer emergency and non-emergency calls for service (Taken over 15,000 911 calls for fire, EMS and law enforcement service)
- Provide direct oversight of Communication Center system failures including Computer aided dispatch (CAD), Vesta 911 phone system, uninterrupted power supply (UPS), radio system fail-soft (trunking failures).
- Working as a Public Safety Communications Supervisor for over seven years; supervising, leading, training, and observing up to seven personnel at a time in a very active 911 center.
- Answer emergency and non-emergency calls for service (Taken over 15,000 911 calls for fire, EMS and law enforcement service)
- Provide direct oversight of Communication Center system failures including Computer aided dispatch (CAD), Vesta 911 phone system, uninterrupted power supply (UPS), radio system fail-soft (trunking failures).
- Supervise and direct dispatch personnel taking emergency telephone calls, Fire/EMS radio and dispatching during extremely high-volume times, including numerous natural disasters, medical, fire and law enforcement emergencies.
- Create and develop operating policy and procedures for 911 call taking and emergency response options.
- Liaise with other County government entities: Division of Emergency Management; Public Works; and Health and Human Services.
- Ongoing liaison with other Maryland and Virgina public safety agencies and federal government partners.
- Lead emergency service dispatch training.
- Serve the community by running and directing emergency scenes, including structure fires using National Incident Management System (NIMS) Incident Command System.
- Currently hold the position of Assistant Chief of Waldorf Volunteer Fire Department.
- Previously held the position of Fire Chief at Accokeek Volunteer Fire Department.
- Manage purchase orders, approve monthly purchases, monitor, and maintain operating budgets for the department.
- Respond on emergency and non-emergency calls for service.
- Create and distribute After Action Reviews (AAR) of large scale incidents.
- Create and adhere to Policy and Procedures
- Respond, access, mitigate, cleanup emergency hazardous material scenes
- Apply industry standards to locate and remove hazardous items, including flammable liquids, biological materials, contaminated soil and fuel on emergency hazardous materials calls.
- Adhere to all defined safety protocols, company requirements and federal and local laws to maintain safe and controlled environments.
- Respond, drive, and set up emergency light tower for large scale law enforcement scenes, and accident reconstruction.
