● Instructional Leadership and Curriculum Oversight: Facilitate District-wide instruction and curriculum
initiatives, including the adoption of elementary reading and math resources, secondary summer curriculum,
and data analysis of NYS assessments, Regents, and graduation rates in collaboration with building

professional development. Monitored student progress through assessments, benchmarks, and collaborative meetings.
● Administrative and Operational Management: Supervised and evaluated staff, upheld the school Code of
Conduct, managed the school budget and facilities, and oversaw New York State Assessments.

● Community Engagement and Positive Environment: Maintained a safe and nurturing learning environment,
fostered respect and collaboration among students, staff, and the community, and communicated effectively with
stakeholders, including parents, faculty, and the Board of Education.

● Leadership and Instructional Initiatives:

Responsible for leading and managing the school building by facilitating curriculum development, managing staff and budgets, ensuring student safety and behavior, and fostering a positive and productive learning environment.

Set academic goals, evaluating staff performance, provided professional development, maintained school facilities in collaboration with facilities department, and implemented school-wide policies and procedures.

● Classroom Instruction and Curriculum Development: Developed and taught a Grade 2/3 multi-age classroom,
delivered lessons to regular education, mainstream, and hearing-impaired students, while revising the math
curriculum for Grades 2 and 3 and implementing NYS standards and assessment strategies.
● Leadership and Collaboration: Served as a grade level chairperson, participated in the Building Safety
Committee, mentored a first-year teachers, and collaborated with remedial teachers and service providers to coordinate push-in
and pull-out lessons.

● Program Implementation and Innovation: Piloted a school-wide mathematics program, integrated technology
programs into the curriculum, and provided academic intervention services to support student success.
