My experience in collegiate and professional sports gives me an edge that you wont find in most people. The rigorous training to not only be able to make it to that level, but stay at that high level takes a sever amount of self discipline. Being in those environments where there is an obvious hierarchy between coach and player there will always be a level of respect displayed to those that are over me. Now that my playing days are over I now work in construction. It is definitely a new world for me, starting from ground zero not knowing anything, to being able to operate various construction equipment took a level of humility to admit im not skilled in this area yet, but i wont give up until i am effectively able to contribute to the team.
