As Chief of Security I provide safe, secure, and humane housing for approximately 1500 incarcerated men and women. To accomplish that mission, I oversee the performance of 285 staff from Correctional Officers to Physicians and a budget of over $36 million. I accomplish that responsibility while also providing opportunities for those under my care to address educational, developmental and behavioral deficiencies by participating in programming aimed at preparing them for their eventual release from custody.

- Created a Re-Entry Unit focusing the release programming efforts of all institution departments to include Religious Services, Education, Psychology, Recreation, Health Services, and Recreation toward those nearing release.
