EH&S Manager

As the EH&S Manager, I dedicated myself in building a strong safety culture throughout the organization. Employee training, safety audits, & writing policies and procedures were created and followed to build a safer work environment for the company. Guidelines provided to me by NAVSEA Standard Items and OSHA help me build a strong working force earning us AEU's General Safety Awards for 2018 & 2023. My management duties conducted, but were not limited to were as followed:

  • California Compliance School Certification of Completion- Managed hazardous waste disposal program, ensuring proper handling, storage, and transportation of materials. Maintained all reports and Manifest for all facilities in accordance with CUPA, DTSC, & APCD.
  • Established a robust safety culture by promoting awareness among staff through education & (class and hands on settings). Maintain records of all gang box daily meetings.
  • Initiated process improvements within the organization that led to increased efficiency in incident investigations procedures.
  • Conducted Safety Committee Meeting with Upper Management for review of Injuries, Corrective Actions, & Process Improvement.
  • Enforced NAVSEA Standard Items and OSHA guidelines using a proactive approach.

  • Ensured OSHA 300 Logs of occupational injuries and illnesses were maintained.
