This position requires the skills needed to transfer dimensional data from blueprints to:

3.) Weld final products using mig welder and acetylene torch for forming and finishing.

1.) Ensure precise material cuts to meet design specifications outlined in blueprints.

2.) Mark welding surfaces with soapstone and line chalk, determining positions for material clips and shims.

The skills used for this position include extensive knowledge of band saws, hydraulic iron worker, automatic pipe bender, mig welding, drill press, various grinding and cutting tools such as portaband cutters.

Additional skills include forklift operating as well as a thorough knowledge of safety procedures (which I use heading safety meetings at Dillon's Welding).

25 years of employment at Leader Industries had me evolving into progressively more responsible positions as years passed.

This company primarily fabricated various ventilation peripheral components such as fire dampers, control dampers, combination systems, louvers, curbs and similar products fabricated from sheet metal and aluminum extrusions.

As a lead person and a lead welder, I was required to possess extensive knowledge of the operations and programming of various production machinery, many of which were precision automated. Additionally, it was essential to possess the skills to train and manage multiple employees in the departments that I was responsible for.

The machines included automated roll forming machines, horizontal radial cutters, beaders, toggle lock machines, riveters of various types, spot welding machines, band saws, slide saws, shears, brakes ,mig welders and forklifts.

Furthermore, I was both safety monitor and safety meeting speaker. I was responsible for formulating the safety talk monthly for the entire shop.

Duties: Oversee all details of store operations and responsibilities of employees therein. Responsible for maximizing profit in unit through maintaining sales objectives, gross profit margins, labor costs and controllable expenses. Responsible for administrative document recording. Assigned duties included recruiting and processing all store personnel, delegation of duties, performance reviews, scheduling, discipline and termination when necessary, training and advancement. Responsible for routine maintenance for all in-store equipment. Responsible for overseeing all merchandising by meeting

customers needs, proper customer service and continually regulating observation of competitor's pricing.

Equipment Used: Cash Register, Calculator, Brix Fountain Calibration, Electronic Data Transmitting Computer.

Duties: Provide leadership concerning all unit operations and delegation of employee responsibilities. Assigned to maintain sales objectives, gross profit margins, labor costs and controllable expenses. Responsible for recording administrative accounting procedures and providing such documentation on schedule for processing. Oversee recruiting, scheduling, performance reviews, discipline, terminations, training and advancement for all unit personnel. Responsible for proper customer service and surveying competitors' pricing.

Equipment Used: Cash register, calculator

Duties: Assemble, test and repair sophisticated air-sampling pump devices for such purposes as asbestos level monitoring systems.

Equipment Used: Air flow and pressure measuring apparatus, air flow calibrator and various small hand tools.

Duties: Manage small engine shop along with repairing small engines and related power equipment. Other duties included setting up and installing snow plows, repair electro-hydraulic pumps, set up and repair of new and used salt spreaders.

Equipment Used: Basic hand tools, hydraulic test stands, fork lift and snow plow.

Duties: Assemble and test various hydraulic components according to military specifications. Components included hydraulic pumps, motors, manifolds, valves and spool/sleeves. Alsop repair work on returned products.

Equipment Used: Hand tools, specifically designed test stands, electronic particle counter and microscope, various measuring apparatus such as micrometers, veneers, calipers, volt-ohm and megger meters.

Duties: Troubleshoot and repair photocopiers in field. Maintain good customer relations. Train new technicians.

• Duties: Inspected and repaired imported photostatic copiers. Shipping and receiving.

• Duties: Assorted and delivered inter-office, domestic and foreign mail. Operated Pitney-Bowes mailing machines such as stamp and seal cancel machine, scales and folder-inserter. In computer operations, the operations of burster, decollater and sorter. Assist tape librarian.
