I've over 40 years experience in grocery retail. I've only worked for two companies in that time frame, Safeway Inc. for 31 years the last 14 years as a store manager and Walmart Inc. for 10 years the last 4 and a half years as a store manager. I'm currently working at Lowe's Home Improvement as an Assistant Store Manager for over a year. I've shown in all companies extreme knowledge of retail, customer service skills, merchandising, communication skills, mentoring / training, time management, delegation and followup. My stores that I ran had very high standards in merchandising, organization, inventory controls / shrink, clean and customer service centered, achieving targets / goals. Supervised multiple teams and planned and executed each holiday Black Friday yearly event at the Walmart stores I worked at. Each one being more successful than the last. I'm a self-motivated leader that strives for achieving results. I'm an outdoor enthusiast that enjoys camping, hiking, hunting and fishing with my family. I also enjoy playing basketball and soccer.
