Served as grants manager for the Office of International Programs in Agriculture (IPA). Office funding includes a six year, $25.5MM USAID funded collaborative research grant. Responsibilities include training, developing and managing fiscal, compliance and staffing activities and procedures for the iAGRI Project Management Unit located in Morogoro, Tanzania.
Supervises all fiscal management activity of pre and post award research grant and contract funds. Activities include: budget preparation, analysis, forecasting as well as annual, quarterly and ad hoc reporting as needed.
Disseminated funding opportunity information to appropriate faculty, interpreted RFP requirements, managed proposal development and submission.
Served as liaison to federal and non-federal grantor agencies and subcontracting institutions.

Pre-award: created complex budget templates and justifications for multimillion-dollar, multidisciplinary research proposals including the budgeting and proposal development for GOHi, LLC, an OSU Affiliated Entity operating in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia •
Post-award: facilitated the challenged purchase of USAID funded project vehicles in Addis Ababa which had stalled for a year and half, had Buy American Act restrictions and was in jeopardy of losing sponsor funding for this essential purchase.
Member of the development team responsible for implementing The Ohio State University College of Medicine Grants Management Office (GMO).
