- Generate weekly manufacturing plan for transmission plant while balancing plant, supply, and inventory restrictions.

- Work with plants to address smoothing opportunities, down weeks/days, and stockpiling to support customer demand.

- Address changes required to support near term production actions.

- Generate monthly manufacturing plan for transmission plant and battery plant to ensure sales planning program is achievable prior to executive approval.

- Communicate to cross functional teams when plans are unsupportable and develop action plans to resolve.

- Maintain data in several sources CMMS, DPR, Excel to support manufacturing plans and communicate companywide the summary of production and manufacturing time.

- Attend meetings, analyze root cause, and communicate to management team critical supply situations

- Support capacity planning team with current production information.

- Prepare daily build schedules for Hermosillo assembly plant.

- Align build schedules to known supplier and plant constraints / GRL’s.

- Support all month end, quarter end and year-end finished vehicle inventory plans. i.e. Mod Centers, Assembly

Plants, and Market directives.

- Work closely with order scheduling teams/SVS to reach/maintain 3-7 weeks of buildable orders.

- Maximize constrained commodities and those on allocation control.

- Support Assembly plant batch builds and early balance out requests.

- Provide scheduling data to external customers.

- Resolve vehicle order issues, invoicing, trailer and spec change errors to name a few.

- Process order amendments as necessary.

Function as plant level single-point-of-contact for all MP&L issues related to Transmission

launch planning and support

- Deliver MP&L New Model Launch Objectives.

- Ensure Plan For Every Part is developed and updated for new program

- Develop Synchronous Material Flow plan throughout the internal and external supply chain

- Assist with workstation material layout proposals.

- Specify and coordinate the installation of MH linefeed equipment.

- Develop packaging strategy, (line feed designs, card/call warehouse, floor space

optimization, truck dock utilization) with corporate packaging engineering.

- PMHV planning (fork free)

- Develop hourly manpower planning needs for new model program

- Review program changes and new model MP&L proposals for feasibility and cost

effectiveness.

- Develop count point strategy and CMMS part setup information

- Assist inventory analyst in developing float strategy

- Track 260 new model parts for all functional runs, and address supplier compliance

issues

- Support audits by providing packaging and material handling related documentation

Lead weekly cycle check/inventory adjustment meeting.

- Coordinate plant monthly Inventory Meetings

- Develop and maintain cycle schedule.

- Schedule and review counts with cycle checkers.

- Review and maintain commonality codes to ensure cycle count requirements are met.

- Perform special investigations of out-of-tolerance cycles to determine root cause and

implement corrective actions.

- Administer transaction corrections, inventory adjustments, and negative balance adjustments.

- Manage bailment and obsolete inventory according to Finance Manual requirements

- Monitor inventory accuracy and adherence to MCRP scorecard objectives

- Analyze inventory reports to ensure record integrity

- Maintain Inventory metrics.

- Lead inventory reduction initiatives.

- Interact with all plant organizations and management levels regarding inventory issues

Schedule all outbound shipments of transmissions to support all VO and service customers.

-Understand, observe, teach and enforce all corporate, plant, department and job specific health/safety policies/practices

-Lead and manage unionized hourly personnel and suppliers to deliver a coordinated and lean supply chain

-Provide direction and support in the allocation of manpower and other resources appropriately in order to cover material handling responsibilities

-Direct the management of materials from the receiving docks, up to the point of use, and the shipping docks. This includes all dock activities of loading/unloading, proper material storage, disposition of material and scrap, container management, managing new parts and deleting old parts, and controlling inventory with proper marketplace mgmt.

-Maintain and support Ford Production System and synchronous material Flow practices (card and call replenishment system, marketplace mgmt., live load/unload, contianer mgmt. etc.) with rest of material handling team.

-Coordinate, monitor, and maintain normal (and premium) receiving and shipping schedules to ensure production and customer requirements are met hourly

-Interpret, understand and proactively manage execution of the production schedule to ensure high quality, low cost just in time flow of materials with no production department disruption

-Communicate on a timely basis and have a sense of urgency relative to issues that could negatively impact above

-Continuously drive for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale, and Environment improvements, and/or process improvements

-Operate in a policy deployment and master schedule business environment

-Conduct weekly safety talks, housekeeping audits, and team meetings

-Provide disciplinary action as appropriate

-Provide accurate time keeping in TWOS system

Responsible for coordinating production needs among engine plant customers and supply base.
Determined best mix for multiple production lines among several different model types. Worked with
production personnel, area managers, and engineers to meet the customer’s sensitive delivery time tables.
Managed inventory with customers and suppliers to ensure the plant’s inventory goals were met.
Coordinated change in models by working with engineering, production, customers and suppliers.
Tracked supply to ensure zero obsolescence of incoming and out-going material. Scheduled new material
delivery to coincide with production equipment changes.

-Produce the daily and weekly production schedules for nive assembly lines (Volume/Mix/Sequence)

-Utilize the Common Material Management System (CMMS) Inventory Management System to schedule production lines and to communicate to customers shipping intentions.

-Daily follow-up and coordination with supplying enough of parts to vehicle operations plants and FCSD customers.

-Coordinate final balance outs and running changes to customers
