• I recently Worked at target for approximately 1 year. At Target I was cross trained to work in every department. Whether it was helping the cashiers, grabbing pallets to put on shelves, unloading the vendor trucks, grabbing carts, customer service, online orders, you name it. I was later given the opportunity to become a team leader. In this role I would lead the front end crew and make sure everything would flow smoothly throughout the day. Along with that also came hospitality for my crew. Providing incentives and lunch every week. This is a big part of being a leader and showing value to your team.
• I have also done a variety of volunteer work in the past. Some volunteer work I have done consists of, the Houston Food Bank, reading books for students at Moore Elementary, and helping people in need after Hurricane Harvey.

• Stocked shelves efficiently and organized products for optimal visibility.
• Received and inspected incoming inventory, ensuring quality standards were met.
• Maintained cleanliness and safety of storage areas to support operational excellence.
• Collaborated with team members to streamline restocking processes and enhance productivity.
• Became fastest stocker at the store in 1 month.

I started Ventra Market to build something of my own and create real value for customers in my community. From day one, I've handled every part of the business managing inventory, working with suppliers, overseeing finances, marketing the brand, and making sure customers have a great experience every time they interact with us.

Running Ventra Market has strengthened my leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. I've learned how to manage cash flow, improve profit margins, negotiate better pricing with vendors, and adapt quickly to challenges. Most importantly, I've focused on building strong relationships with customers and creating a business people trust and return to.
