- Responsible for maintaining in good working order the HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Sound System, Access Control, Network, and Environmental Monitoring Systems for a 41 acre campus consisting 6 buildings and a residence.
- This general maintenance (or new construction) is performed hands-on or thru contracted labor and direction given to Maintenance staff.
- Established and managed regular preventative maintenance schedule for all building systems and school athletic facilities.
- Performed all on-site engineering for the construction of a new $10 mil. 32,000 sq. ft. Sanctuary. Conducted plan review of all Engineering disciplines through each phase of design. Served as technical advisor during the Value Engineering process to keep the project within budget.
- Performed Project Management and hands-on construction of 3 new Modular Classroom Buildings.
- Performed Project Management for construction of a new 2000 niche Columbarium. Established and maintain the perpetual care procedures of this new facility.
- Responsible for defining the scope of work, selection, hiring, and management of all sub-contractors in the areas of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Landscaping, Security, Network, Sound, Fire Protection, Alarms, and Telephone Systems.
- Ensure that all facility annual inspections are performed as required by local authorities and any deficiencies are promptly corrected.
- Coordinate with the School Principal to ensure a safe, clean, secure, and productive environment for students and staff.
- Prepare and submit all annual Operating Budgets to the Finance Director and develop annual Capital Expense budgets for new facility improvements or expansion.
- Responsible for establishing the schedule, task list, and priorities of the Maintenance Assistant(s).
- Responsible for the interviewing, hiring, and managing of all temporary labor.
