  • Verify that all bids are in compliance with HUD and MSHDA regulations for government funded projects.
  • Granted the job to the contractor that submitted the most cost effective and honest bid for rehabilitation of property, lawn care and/or snow removal.
  • Reviewed all check request for commencement of work also signed and approved them.
  • Made site visits to ensure all work requesting payment for was completed to the specifications provided.
  • Supervised 4 full-time employees and 15-30 part-time employees. Provided daily work assignments. Responsible for all payroll and human resource activities. Held and instructed Safety Training Programs to employees to remain in compliance of governing rules and regulations.
  • Responsible for purchase and development of multi-family and single family units. Directed contractors of repairs needed to be addressed A.S.A.P., quality of work expectations and advised them of the time frame of completion to ensure all projects remained on schedule.
  • New Construction
  • Purchased and developed land for multi-family units and new construction. Met with city officials, building inspectors and also architects regarding design build directions.
  • Property Maintenance – New Construction
  • Managed over 65,000 Square Feet of commercial office space for Summit Pointe. Conducted routine maintenance of all properties located in the facilities at Battle Creek and Albion according to (JAYCO) and Community Mental Health Standards. Coordinated and supervised sub-contractors of repairs/work to be completed. Designed and constructed modular office furniture, including layout and location. Managed all build to suit projects for potential leases. Supervised two full-time employees for commercial properties. Provided daily work assignments. In charge of grounds for Commercial Property Sites. Oversaw maintenance and care of 6 single-family dwellings designated for assisted living. Responsible for keeping daily maintenance, safety, activity and injury logs. Prepared monthly and quarterly reports for the Government Subsidized Programs.
