The high school I went to was a tech high school so during my freshman year I elected to be apart of electronics. Though it started off very rough, I steadily improved and took a liking to electronics. This led to an ever going infatuation to continue to learn more and perfect my craft. During high school I began to pursue a career in the field and landed a job which later turned to be my first internship. I don't plan on stopping there and plan to take this as far as possible. I am a goal oriented individual who is capable of positively affecting any situation im in. Currently I'm pursuing my Electrical Engineering degree and I feel as though the skills that I possess up to this point seamlessly translate into any work environment. I'm capable of absorbing new information and taking the initiative to move to the next level. I am an organized and dependable candidate successful at managing multiple priorities with a positive attitude. Willingness to take on added responsibilities to meet team goals.
As an Engineering Intern the main aspect of my job is research and development for the production workers. At Radwell I'm given a multitude of units ranging from plc's, servo drives, variable frequency drives that the technicians are unable to test and it is my task to develop a test which others can replicate to test the same unit in the future. Another integral part of the job has to do with assisting team members with new product implementation and manufacturing process changes, being that I am part of a team, it is my responsibility to bring new ideas that can be implemented to reach a goal faster.
Pre-Eval Technician was my formal title at Radwell International. Working with drives and servo drives in particular, I was responsible for performing preventative maintenance and testing on units that tested well using different software and were powered on. I performed component-level testing and component replacement on units that did not power on or test well in order to diagnose the PCB board.
During my tenure as a Retail Sales Associate at Walmart I worked in the electronics department. My job entailed greeting different customers, offering assistance in finding requested items, and helping boost customer satisfaction and retention. Asides from customer interactions, I restocked shelves, racks and bins with latest merchandise and changed signage to promote special items. In order to effectively complete my job I maintained knowledge of sales and promotions, return policies and security practices in order to stay updated with customer needs along with, being updated with current and upcoming technology in order to better assist customers with any questions.
