• Worked as a Data Analyst in the, Systems Audit & Business Support unit, which involves:
• Collection and analysis of data in regards to revenue collection by use of excel, Oracle and Jasper soft systems as well as use of advanced Microsoft Excel for data analysis
• Preparation of Regional daily, weekly, monthly and annual revenue performance reports
• Briefing the regional DTD Operations manager on daily revenue and REI performance.
• Analyzed large datasets to identify trends, patterns and correlations for business insights.
• Implemented machine learning algorithms like Linear Regression, Logistic Regression and Random Forest for classification and prediction purposes.

• ACHIEVEMENTS

Developed the South Rift Valley Region Revenue Performance Dashboard, seamlessly integrating it with Power Query to automate the cleaning and analysis of daily payments data extracted from Jaspersoft software across different tax heads and TSOs/Region performance. This initiative significantly reduced the time and effort required for data cleaning and analysis while eliminating human errors associated with manual processes through automation.

• During my time at KNBS in Social and Population Statistics, I oversaw office administration, led the decennial census, and managed NASSEP. I produced essential population and social sector statistics spanning demographics, health, education, governance, gender, and vital stats. Actively involved in projects like Monthly Survey of Industrial Production, Continuous Household Surveys, and Cluster Updating, I contributed to survey instrument development, aided in data collection and qualitative analysis, and collaborated with senior researchers for project precision. I also maintained records and documentation for ongoing projects.
